SAN ANTONIO (Texas News Radio) — Four of the five victims of last week’s apartment fire in San Marcos have been identified.
The city says all five victims were young adults killed in the blaze and all found in building 500 at the Iconic Village apartments.
The victims are 19-year-old Haley Frizzell of San Angelo, 21-year-old David Ortiz of Pasadena, 20-year-old Dru Estes of San Antonio, and 24-year-old James Miranda of Mount Pleasant. A fifth person, 21-year-old Belinda Moats of Big Wells, is still listed as missing.
The Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office has one more set of remains left to identify, which is pending DNA analysis.
