The 100 Club of San Antonio benefits the survivors of fallen first responders. The club has been making funds available to families for not only the things they need right away but for higher education for surviving dependent children.
But they can’t provide that support without your help.
This weekend , the 100 Club is holding it’s 21st Annual Spaghetti Dinner.
Arthur Cavasos tells us it has become their biggest fundraiser.
“It’s a great event, it’s a family event. Hundreds of volunteers from the church and a lot of survivor family members volunteer. It’s kind of a whole group effort.”
On Saturday and Sunday, volunteers will be serving up spaghetti and meatballs and fresh salad.
“It’s a full Italian dinner, if you will”
Along with the delicious food, a lot of fun events including a meatball roll and a meatball eating contest featuring the appetites of San Antonio Police Officers and Firefighters.
Tickets are 9 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for children. You can buy yours in advance by clicking here or at the door.
The spaghetti dinner is being held at the the Christopher Columbus Italian Society Banquet Hall at 201 Piazza Italia.
